Meet our valuable and amazing young caymanian interns who spent the entire sumer with us here at CITA.
Victoria Tibbetts and Aigourney Artiaga are both Studying Hospiality Management.
Victoria Tibbetts
During my time at Cayman Islands Tourism Association I have been able to expand my experience and knowledge in the tourism industry. I’m so grateful to have worked with incredible people and be a part of a magical event, ‘The Stingray Awards’ during this internship. With an Associates in Hospitality Management, my next step is to complete my Bachelor’s in Management with a Minor in Marketing at UCCI. Furthermore, I will continue to follow down the path of the tourism industry to reach my goal of becoming an event planner.
Sigourney Artiaga
Being exposed to tourism from a young age, it has always been a path of interest for me. Working with the CITA team has only made this career idea more exciting and pushed me a step closer to the working world of tourism. It was an honor being an intern for this association and helping them with task and events. I intend to finish my degree in hospitality management, at UCCI and I look forward to contributing to the expanding industry. If my life does not take on a hospitality career, I will further my education in medicine or science. Hopefully partaking in some humanitarian and tourism work along the way.
