Established in 1996, The National Gallery of the Cayman Islands ("NGCI") serves to promote and encourage the appreciation and practice of the visual arts of and in the Cayman Islands. This mission is achieved by providing extensive education and outreach programmes, access to temporary exhibitions and a permanent collections, the largest visual arts library in the Cayman Islands and numerous events geared towards the community. With over 25 education and outreach initiatives provided monthly, NGCI is at the forefront of visual arts education in the Cayman Islands. From guided tours to art courses and workshops, services are offered to adults, families and school children.
