Beacon Farms

Beacon Farms a Non-Profit Organization that employs people in recovery from substance abuse, as we feel this is an important service to society. We support our charity through the production and sale of local produce, processed goods, compost, machinery rentals; as well as any donations we receive. We have 34 acres of land in North side, 5 acres of which has been partly converted to farmland. The majority of the property is still untouched, and we would like to make those areas available for guests to explore. We also have a small farm shop. We employ some interesting practices, such as soil production through the use of top-of-the-line rock crushing machinery and the addition of our own compost made from materials that would otherwise end up in the landfill, which we produce in an advance composting facility.
