North Sound Golf Club is Cayman's only 18-hole Championship golf course. The par -71, 6605 yard course has a rating of 73.1 and slope of 139. Challenges abound with the prevailing Caribbean trade winds and with water coming into play on 15 of the 18 holes. However, the five sets of tee boxes allow an enjoyable opportunity for even the novice golfer.The signature hole, #11, is a long par-3 playing into the wind with the majestic North Sound as the backdrop, a must for photo enthusiasts. North Sound Golf Club is open to the public with daily, twilight and resident rates.
